Support that feels accessible, human and connected to the communities it serves.
At Stable Minds Your Safe Space Wales, we understand that accessing mental health and wellbeing support is not always simple.
Across Anglesey, many individuals and families face barriers including rural isolation, transport difficulties, financial pressures, waiting lists and limited local provision. For some people, travelling to traditional services can feel overwhelming or simply out of reach.
We believe support should feel more accessible, more human and more connected to the communities it serves. That is why outreach and community connection sit at the heart of our vision.
Although Anglesey is known for its strong sense of community and natural beauty, many people living across rural and coastal areas continue to experience loneliness, emotional distress and difficulties accessing support.
For children, young people and adults already struggling emotionally, barriers such as limited transport, long travel distances, waiting lists, financial pressures, lack of local support and fear of judgement can make reaching out feel even harder.
We believe early support and human connection should not depend on someone's postcode or ability to travel.

As the organisation grows, we hope to continue developing accessible wellbeing support that reaches further into communities across Anglesey.
Future funding will help us work towards expanding outreach support, increasing accessibility, reducing barriers to emotional wellbeing support, developing community wellbeing initiatives, supporting schools and families, and creating safe and welcoming spaces within local communities.
Important: A mobile outreach safe space is part of our future vision and funding aim — it is not something we currently have in place.
